I’m Anastasiya, a senior software developer with more than a decade of experience building for the web.
I’ve been working with PrestaShop since 2011. I started by building and maintaining online stores, and over time that grew into developing my own PrestaShop modules. Today, I have a portfolio of 12 modules covering things like coupons, reviews, loyalty programs, marketplaces, product calculators, and store management.
Working on both stores and software for them has given me a slightly different perspective on e-commerce. I’m interested not only in whether something can be built, but also in whether it solves a real problem for a store owner, how it behaves in practice, and what happens when the original idea meets real customers and real orders.
My main development background is in React, TypeScript and modern web applications, but PrestaShop has remained a big part of my work.
More recently, I’ve been exploring what AI can actually do inside an e-commerce store — from making sense of customer feedback to automating repetitive tasks and giving AI agents controlled access to store data and actions.
Why Web Esse?
I started Web Esse as a place to write about things I actually think about while building software.
Some articles are about PrestaShop development and e-commerce. Others are about AI, automation, or the practical problems that appear when you try to connect new technology to an existing store.
I’m particularly interested in the space between an interesting idea and something that is actually useful in a real business.

A little more about me
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and discovering new places with my family. I also like experimenting with small ways to make everyday things simpler — which probably explains why automation keeps finding its way into both my work and my interests.
I’m still figuring out where AI will be genuinely useful in e-commerce and where it is mostly hype. Web Esse is partly a place to document that process.
