How the PrestaShop loyalty points program works

The basic reward flow is simple:

Customer registers → Earns points → Places orders → Redeems points for vouchers

Customers can earn points through:

• account registration
• birthday rewards
• eligible customer orders

Configure both sides of the loyalty rate: how much spending earns one point and how much discount value each point represents.

For example, your store could award one point for every €10 spent, with each point worth €0.20 when converted into a voucher.

You control when points become valid, which order statuses award or cancel them, and how long customers can keep their points.

Multi-level loyalty tiers for PrestaShop

Advanced Loyalty Points supports optional loyalty tiers that reward customers when they reach predefined point milestones.

Do I have to use loyalty tiers?

No. Loyalty tiers are optional. The module works as a straightforward points-based loyalty program until you enable them.

Customers can see their loyalty balance on product pages, in the shopping cart and in My Account.

When they have enough points, they can convert them into a voucher directly from the cart.

You can configure:

• the minimum points balance required for redemption
• voucher validity and minimum cart value
• tax and voucher combination rules
